  1. No, nothing "real" from Brazil. I know there are two complete YouTube source of October 22. One that doesn't sound too bad, but is med-res mono (dynamic up to, say, 15kHz) and one stereo (dynamic up to 18kHz) but with lots of screamers and nearby talkers. Perhaps the latter could make a 3 star boot, but I'm not sure though if I should go through all the troubles of making it somewhat acceptable...

    I mean, I rather put my energy and time in cleaning something up that I enjoy listening myself to (like Mr Foo's Tampa recording for instance!)
    Personally I thought the clean-up Amsterdam 2 recording from one8ung was great but, well, it got a far better response on u2torrents that
    here at u2start (24 downloads and still counting...).
    Not that I'm in it for "response" or high praises, but still, why should I bother with something people merely download for the novelty of it - or
    to fill their empty "Sao Paulo" slots?

    PS: The two Mexico boots were worth it because they were recorded with externals and have a proper lineage...nothing of that sort from Brazil...

    That's why, at the end of the day, no matter how many requests/demands you get from other fans, only work on recordings that matter to you and worth your time. Doing recordings for the highest response is a folly in my opinion--too many other factors in play besides the actual recording itself.

    An average sounding recording of Mexico City would likely get more attention than a fantastic 2001 recording. Completely silly, but true.

    Also good point of spending a lot of time and effort simply for collectors to check off a completionist box of "collecting all shows"...when it's not really for listening.

  7. Yeah, I don't think they have the iem recordings from Louisville! The iem mixes from the bootleggers are maximized advertised as such for the bites.
