If I get a Presale code for US gigs and don’t use it, can that same code be used for Europe?? Or will it be verified through ticketmaster Europe and another code sent????

You don't need VF for Europe- you get presale codes through buying the album and maybe through u2.com membership.

  4. Wouw...our friends at Zootopia had to take their site off-line due to the presale lottery...
But still hats off to your hard work yesterday

As I understand some fans with that horrible "CORRECTION" e-mail were still given a code thanks to the zootopia mods (and although unfortunately not me, I do understand that due to overwhelming demand, that you guys just couldn't help everybody...though luck!)

Congrats to all the winners... and BE STRONG to the all who felt like loosing

I think yesterday was a very sad day for the U2 community...

Even if the lottery had been more clear announced, I still think it is a very, very bad idea.
It creates (even more) division amongst U2 fans with "haves" and "have-nots." It's just not right.

Hopefully there will be more shows announced with presale options for yesterdays loosers. But I have to say that I don't feel very optimistic as there is nothing to indicate that there won't be another lottery...

Nothing more to say I guess...

I'm gonna take the day off as well

I'm not afraid of calling it FRAUD! If it was announced in advance, everyone could choose if they want to be part of it. Paying $40 or 50 to go to lotery - and the win is you can PAY again for tickets is bad idea, but if it was announced before - I would be okay with that (or just silently disagree ).
Btw. looks like I'm still in for innocence presale...
hope they don't read this and don't cut me off

Still, even knowing in advance it would be a lottery, I think it is a bad idea. Like I said, it only creates division.
Perhaps if there was a good reason for it, like overwhelming demand, I would understand. But I don't believe this is the case. It is just less tickets in the hands of fans, and more into those of the scalpers...

But good luck to you Alvin! Hope you succeed so you can prepare for your (first?)concert(s) in America

yeah - as I said - bad idea, but knowing it in advance would be more fair...

First on East Coast. In 2011 when we were in Vancouver for 15 months, we went to Seattle. So not first in US, but first in NY (want MSG show)
  9. Question is last time around were there any people with codes who wanted tickets but did not get any tickets? I doubt there were many (if any).

If its not broken- dont fix it.

I really hope that this is correct.

Yesterday was extremely stressful reading so many comments about that second rejection email from long time, genuine fans. I would be mortified if that was me. I really hope the brilliant Zootopia moderators managed to sort everyone out and others (looking at you BigGIRL ) are successful too
  11. Good luck everyone in the Innocence presales. Hope it won't be such a mess as yesterday.
