    But they always allocate certain numbers of each kind of ticket (including GA) for each presale and general sale, too, right? Makes sense to give subscribers on each presale day a first shot at grabbing them, but they HAVE to save some GA for each of the sale days.

    Yes. And my understanding is Citi seats are more specific and designated. A friend who has Citi presales a few time says he's never seen GA available. Cant confirm, but he has a pretty good pulse for this kind of thing.

  9. Another problem I’ve just been thinking about with u2 pre sales is that scalpers could easily appear to be loyal customers based on there purchase history. If I was a scalper I would pay for multiple u2 memberships under different names email addresses etc and continue them every year putting me in the first priority group for pre sales. Even in non tour years they can get there money back or even profit with the subscription gift alone. So from the outside it looks like John Smith from Glasgow has subscribed every year for x amount of years bought tickets for every tour when in reality it’s all to make money. There is really no way of stopping that.

    Looks like my decision to not renew and take my chances elsewhere hasn't hurt me much.

    I haven't seen anything about a CITI presale yet. Anyone know if there will be one?

    Yep there will be one. Registration closes tonight I believe.
