1. Yes. You have to register, but are not guaranteed a code. (Hmm, that sounds familiar..)
  2. Best of luck to all of you trying for tickets today!
  3. But.. you get 4 tickets. So if you have a Citi card, definitely worth the try.
  4. Plus I assume it's free... other than the thousands I've likely paid in interest since I got that card in college back in 88...

  5. To be honest, the only reason I have ever paid for the membership is to be able to get tickets.

And it sounds like that didn't go well for many subscribers yesterday?

I can get all of the content elsewhere and I don't really need the "gifts."

Actually... I get almost all of my U2 content right here.
  6. Good luck to everyone.

I will try the CITI one.
  7. Very disappointed in this ticket sale. Many tickets available on Stub Hub while true fans are left out. Don't remember ever having this hard of a time getting tickets to see my favorite band.

Indeed, no problem to get overpriced tickets on stubhub already. So this whole theatre is mostly a nightmare for the fans and that's it. That's too bad. Anyway, let's be positive - good luck everyone today!
  9. Can't remember if this was posted here or not, but if you participate in both the subscriber pre-sale and the citi presale, your limit is 4 tix total.

(I asked customer service at Wells Fargo center about this.)

    So, 2 tix in U2.com pre-sale, then 2 tix in Citi pre-sale.

That is not true, according to all the online help information and sign-up page though.. U2.com states on their help page the two are separate, and once you sign up for Citi it says: "To allow as many fans as possible to enjoy U2, there is a four (4) ticket limit per access code."
