Can't say for sure, but I chatted with a guy yesterday who got tickets and he said all he received was a text in the morning... no e-mail. So, don't hold me to that, but don't give up hope.

That is not true, according to all the online help information and sign-up page though.. U2.com states on their help page the two are separate, and once you sign up for Citi it says: "To allow as many fans as possible to enjoy U2, there is a four (4) ticket limit per access code."

Based on what U2.com and citi say, I though that as well.
But the zootopia mods seemed to think the limit was four total across all sales.
U2.com help told me the opposite.
Venue told me same as zootopia mods.

This is one of my frustrations with this whole thing, it shouldn't be this difficult to get information. I need 6 total tix if my kids are going to go. If I get a citi code, I'll probably only buy 2 (if GA is available, earlier post in this thread indicated GA might not be available in Citi sale) because I don't want to risk losing my tix.

Then I'll probably hope 2 more GA come available either in this forum or elsewhere for face value.

Side note - my wife and I debated which 2 kids we would take. We know which 2 would enjoy it the most, but also know the other 2 would be devastated for being left out. Parents - be careful how many kids you have. U2 ticket limits are tough to deal with.

Sorry if this has been addressed, but where does one sign up for the Citi sale?

Citi told me through Ticketmaster but I can't find anything on TM that has a sign up.

In the past, the Citi presale code was simply the first 6 digits of my card number.
I know for Atlanta show the venue page had a link:

    citiprivatepass.com

You can try that. Not sure if it's a general link or venue specific as I don't use Citi, but maybe that helps.
  4. The email says that so I am not terribly excited but my U2.com account page says... Verified Subscribers will receive a text by 5am PT the morning of the presale start. Your text will include a link to purchase along with your unique presale access code to unlock access to tickets before the presale begins.

There was nothing when the Joshua Tree tour went on presale but several hours later plenty of GA tickets became available. It was a nail biter prior to that.

Seeing as how the e-mail is more up-to-date, I would go by that info.

  7. Looking at 2 of the venues, Phily and DC, there seems to be less tickets available than usual. So maybe verified fan is kind of working?
Although I guess the real test will be after general sale happens next week.
  8. Thanks for info.

Oh well... might have to slog it out in the general...

Or maybe when new shows are added, I'll be able to register.
  9. Did not get a text yet for innocence presale. Also do they update the tickets before? It is showing now no GA’s for New York City but GA’s for UNIONDALE
