1. Its really confusing.
All the official docs make it look like its oK to buy 2 in u2.com presale, then 4 in citi.
But I emailed the wells fargo center and they said max was 4 TOTAL. So if you bought 2 in U2.com presale, you could only buy 2 more in Citi.

I ended up buying just 2 more in Citi presale because I did not want to risk ALL of my tix getting cancelled.

And it wouldn't be even that bad if fanclub were actually able to BUY 2 tickets...
It's so frustrating to know that "eXPERIENCE" is blocked out, while CITI still packs up that 4 GA...

    It hurts SO much...

Every day it's getting more worse...it's beyond words...and that's coming from your own 2017 u2start positivity award winner...
Right because fan club is more likely to have scalpers than citi!

  4. And I suspect that this is EXACTLY the reason: fanclub members won't are less likely to put their tickets up on the secondary market...

No offense to all fans who bought via Citi today and are able to take their family...you just did the right thing!

You wouldn't. Me neither. But there are literally thousands of scalpers disguised as U2.com fanclub members with many (dozens of) paying accounts, so it's equally nonsense.

This whole issue will (would) only be solved with strict triple checking of name on the ticket vs name on the card vs photo ID, with no exceptions, only refund if able to prove your unability to attend. A mess for fans buying tickets in advance without knowing if they will or won't be able to attend, yes, but the very only way to truly screw scalpers up.

But screwing scalpers is REALLY not Livenation's priority since allowing scalping through their system gives them millions of clean profit over tickets they had already sold.

Summary: we fans are fucked either way.

Old school. Ticket outlets. You have to go out and buy your ticket. Whatever it takes... long line, overnight camping, etc...

Thats how you know you're getting tickets in fans hands. There's an occasional "paid" line guy, but he's only getting 2-4 tickets...
  9. question is if he really gives a f*ck...
  10. Other than the sometimes over the top complaining about the I'll Go Crazy remix, and my disdain for all the times I have bought the damn Zoo TV concert, this is the first time I feel venom in my blood. I was used to this with Prince, since he was just a complete 180 degree switcher. He would screw the fans, and then invite them in for a pretend "soundcheck" where we got an up close 4 song performance, and usually for under $150, and he would talk to us...oh yeah, back to "Verified Scam," U2 signed with this company, and obviously have either been Hoodwinked by them, or they don't care. Can anybody tell that I am not happy with the U2 ticket system yet? Still can't find a law firm that doesn't think I am absolutely crazy, but I will find one! Since U2 are sort of public figures, Malfeasance will be among the charges. I will get my screening of the Pop Mart Las Vegas Motion picture!
