  2. Dunno how much has been discussed here, but for us in the States it has been absolute fiasco for many. For the first time in 30 years, I might not get to go to a show.

    I've been a Propaganda/U2.com member for over 20 years. U2 subscribers were promised first crack at tour tickets. Lots of us, not so much.

    Got the email as well. They are going to try and get me GAs for Philly. Will hear back within the next day or two.
  6. Ticketmaster Fan Support just reached out to me on Twitter. I've explained my situation as best I can. I wound up getting my Innocence code and purchasing a seated ticket on time (as did my friend who was trying to get a GA ticket with me), so I doubt there's anything they'll be able to do for me/us, since they'll be focused on taking care of people who didn't actually get the code...but we'll see. I'll let you know if anything happens.
  7. Well, Ticketmaster gave me a code to look through the seats in the Citi presale going on right now...and naturally, all the GAs are gone (for the shows I looked at, at least). They said there are more tickets being released for the general public onside, but they didn't say what kinds of tickets they'd be...so who knows.

    We've established that in order to take part in the general onsale, I'd have to have a different Ticketmaster account, right?

    You dont need a different account. You just need to make sure you log out before you verify for general onsale. And then you have to verify for each specific show you want to go to.

    i thought maybe new tickets.2 hours after i redeemed my cds they sent me another email telling me i can redeem my cds.so maybe im getting new tickets .an upgrade.no just another slap in the face when i click on it .."no cds to redeem"
    why would you jerk a guy like that.
  10. Got an email from u2.com and called and spoke to someone. They can't garauntee tickets but will call me within 72 hours. I'm pleased with this. They're doing something. Hopefully luck will prevail!

    Something like that was told to me by the guy I spoke to from TM USA as well. Although he actually said that he didn't know what the offer would be. They either call me, or contact me by e-mail. We'll see. I'll be out all weekend in timezone 6-9 hours ahead of the USA, so it should be fun! (Like getting a call in the middle of the night while at my sisters place... )
