not getting the tickets you wanted, certainly as an Innocence member that's something that can happen with those small GA areas ... not getting a presale code at all, when you were just prompted to re-suscribe is just ridiculous unless there are genuine doubts about a subscriber... so I'm curious how those thousands of complaints are divided.
  2. U2 need to be loud about this and all the crap ticket master has been getting away with. the new album and their future will suffer if they are quiet.

I was expecting Larry to be on top of this like he was during the Vertigo Tour.

There were 2000 subscribers who did not get a code due to “not being selected” according to Ticketmaster.

As for the lack of GA’s for the Innocence presale: those same GA’s then did pop up a day later for the Citi card presale. Which sends a message like you better get a Citi creditcard than a U2 membership

And there were some others. But its mostly complains about poor communication. U2.com said you were guaranteed a code and Ticketmaster then said that it was a lottery. I think thats the biggest mess-up.

If I recall it was more than simply needing to resubscribe (I didn't resubscribe at all and was totally fine). I can see people thinking "I have a U2.com account and a ticketmaster account, so I should be good to go" while there were still a few steps to complete in order to link the two.

This is my first time hearing about the lottery thing though.

There were also hundreds of (Experience) fans who got an email they were ready to go only then a few hours later get an email that this was wrong and they were not eligible for tickets (due to the lottery probably).

As a slap in the face all those people eventually got a code by Ticketmaster admitting the mistake, only did this happen after the Innocence presale so there were no tickets left..

So yes the biggest mess since Vertigo presale for sure
  7. Ticket bastard strikes again

tickets were put in 4 pools(experience, innocence, citi, and ticketmaster theft)you could only buy tickets assigned to your group.the innocence group did not buy experience group tickets! citi had ga allocated to them in some markets while innoncence had little to none.ticketmaster did not allow each group full access to arena tickets.
your tickets were not taken from another group it was not possible in the system.each group had little to choose from.ticket master took the majority of the tickets to sell and resell.PERIOD!this was not oversite.it was theft.

well, as far as I understand both groups had limited access to GA. Maybe the early Citi birds were better of than the slow Innocence members. I don't think there's much to say about that, I think it's a good thing that presale is limited to some point, and I think it's a good thing that at least every group get some GA/most wanted tickets. But not getting a code at all, I think is very unfair and that what we should focus on.
  10. Ticketmaster has in the past few days contacted some fans and is now starting to offer tickets. Fans are reporting they now got GA tickets thanks to Ticketmaster. Good to read that some of these cases now get an happy end Hope also for some here!

(they only contacted those who posted in the U2.com Zootopia forums in a special thread)

That’s what I like to hear.
  12. I have a feeling I wont be getting anything from them since I ended up getting a ticket (behind the stage). But fingers crossed anyway
