  1. That tweet is so accurate. I just hope the good people who got their GA's now won't be silent about the whole thing. Even if TM were able to reach out to everyone who has been screwed by the system it still wouldn't erase the mess they put us through.
  2. Hi Everyone, this has probably been asked a million times but as a U2.com member in the UK should I link my account to the North America Ticket master don't want US tix, or is there a Europe version coming for UK / Europe dates?

    i did with mine as i couldn't complete, but i don't think you have to, i haven't disconnected it yet, but my worry is i received an sms with a US presale code, which i didn't need, now worried i have jeopardized my future chance for a European code...i'm still waiting for a reply from u2.com regarding this.

    I asked U2.com support about the very same thing about a week ago and here's what I got as a reply

    "Hello Panagiotis,

    Thank you for your email. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. I'll be glad to assist you.

    This Presale and verification process is for U2 shows in U.S. + Canada only. You only need to complete the registration if you wish to attend a show in the U.S or Canada. For the most up to date information on tour dates please visit www.u2.com/tour.

  5. I did not have any issues logistically (though I had to use the TM webinterface the phone app did not seem to be working). My biggest gripe (other than I think the ticket prices have spiked pretty significantly, but that may just be a feeling) is the 2 per on presale. This totally hosed my "travel team" (2 couples). It seems to me that a basic 4 ticket limit is fair and easiest to plan.On past tours I've been able to take my "team" or my kids or whatever. e+I will be spouse only...and we have a great time, but it takes some of the fun out of the whole thing. The TM for JT17 in Chicago was e-ticket so scalping would have been problemmatic, for St. Louis they were paper tickets, but we all know how that turned out.

    I know there are issues that the band is trying to address, but three tours back-to-back-to-back should have lessened the pressures. I just know that I've got some people who I try to include that if they did get tickets would not have gotten them "with" me.

    I haven't been contacted yet, so all I have is the promise they would "within 72 hours," but that's almost 44 hours ago...

    I just hope they keep their promise...and preferable before general onsale starts 'cos that will be our last option if all else fails...

  8. Hi Folks apologies if this has been covered already, I am not a fan club member so registered for the Verified Fan Presale. If verified;

    Will I get a text tomorrow with a code that I can use on the TM website to try and buy a ticket?
    Is there a time to start looking for the text?

  9. Keep your eyes on social media. The U2 fansites like u2start etc Will report when mails with access or rely emails are being sent.

    Normally speaking you should get a mail saying you'll be eligible for presales or not. Also worth noting, is that not everyone gets the mail at exactly the same time.
