1. I don't think they have a say (at least initially) in ticket prices but then again I also don't think they understand how money works for normal people..

  2. So true hahahahahah. And thanx.

    yep, i agree
  4. I can’t remember in all the time of seeing u2, an MSG show not selling out immediately. By now usually 2-3 more shows would be announced. I really hope it stays this way. Those ticket prices are insulting. I hope this is a wake up call.

but ain't they playing newark and uniondale instead of one week msg!?
  6. For $331 I expect Bono to cook dinner for me and Larry to serve me beer during the show...

    ...WHILE SMILING.

+1, hope it stays like this too.

However, if it stays like this they'll just drop prices until it sells out.
  8. This time in Montreal - 2 seats 20 rows up in a section (112) that is one removed from the stage - $715 paid by my daughter with her experience code
2 Gold seats 6 rows up in a section (102) that is one removed from the stage on the opposite side from 112 - $985 paid by me with my innocence code

Total investment to ensure that 4 lifelong fans go see U2 for the last time ever was $1705!!!!

Am I crazy or stupid? I think one or both applies, but in my defence I can assure everyone this is absolutely the last time U2 will ever have us attend one of their horribly overpriced shows. The band, Live Nation, and their greed has killed this goose....

And give refunds to customers who already bought overpriced tickets in same section

  10. All that plus a happy ending for that money...
  11. They burned out the American market with an absurd 3rd leg through stadiums that didn't sell out either, and now the market doesn't need to see U2 again - presenting a yet-unreleased album, to make matters worse!
