so we have 4 now:every breaking wave, vulcono, iris, song for someone.
wonder if "13" is a reference to their 13th album SOI

Or just the 13th song on SOE?
  3. Btw, about the hype courtesy of album reviews...

... I'd say that if you haven't really liked this century's albums and/or the four songs we've heard so far, please don't get your hopes up, cause I think you'll get disappointed and then you'll rant about it and although everyone's free to comment whatever they want, it could be a bit easier if you don't listen to it expecting it to be something we already know it won't be... It won't be anywhere near experimental, it will be overproduced, it'll be radio friendly, it won't have anything obscure deep ironic 90's vibe.

    Just sayin....

    Heartfully agreed...

...until the "it won't be". I disagree. The 00's U2 can't get much more obscure, surprising or experimental than Cedars Of Lebanon or Sleep Like A Baby, to say 2 examples from their most recent LPs. Of course they're not key parts in their albums and they've largely been ignored by the band since their release, but my point is that even without expecting Achtung Baby Part II this band still has the ability to surprise and to push their boundaries a bit more.
  5. Oh ok then

  6. this mr Saul O'Enigma might just be a marketing trick to get us more hyped. I'm not buying it.
  7. maybe its an anagram

Absolutely, but I'd prefer if people gets surprised for a couple of songs rather than disappointed for 10
  9. I actually remember vividly a couple of preview snippets of ATYCLB, U2.com posted like 10 seconds of all songs before the release... I remember I got really hyped about Kite from that snippet, it delivered.
