1. This album seems more about Bono’s lyrics and rhyming words than Edge’s riffs. Interesting for a U2 album
  2. Great album. Wow. Last few tracks are so good.

To be honest I didn't think they could ever write something this good again after the last few records and the general trajectory of their songwriting.

Bono's lyrics and melodies are incredible across the album. The production (especially on the more atmospheric tracks) is brilliant.

Excited to listen again. What an album!
  3. That's why I like SOI more

    I prefer Edge's riffs...
  4. Can't get Red Flag Day out of my head.
  5. Don’t they get old though? Honestly. I think he purposely took a back seat for this album
  6. Showman is so different. I can’t figure out if i like it or not. Little Things is good but not as good as expected after hearing it live.
  7. Landlady coming up. A beautiful song i must say

Showman will be a love or hate song. Can't see how they do it live though if they want to?
  9. Summer of Love the only immediate standout for me. I only got up to Little Things on first run through. Think I’ll leave it until the album is out proper next week.
  10. Showman is a Killers' song. It would fit Sam's Town or Day And Age perfectly.
    I liked it.

Red Flag Day sounds too different to what I expected it, but I loved it in a different way still.

    Loving everything so far.
