1. In the making of the Joshua Tree dvd, Edge talks about how they were trying to bring you to a certain place with some of the songs on the album. I really feel this on a lot of songs, and I was just wondering if other people do too? you can just post songs that bring you some place, it can be any number of songs you like.

Boy (Shadows and Tall Trees) - Brings me to dark streets in europe, with that europe architecture, with the shadows of spooky trees up against everything, and a young U2 playing their music.

War(Drowning Man) - Brings me to a house that's all black and white, and its raining outside, but at the same time it makes me think of my ex girlfriend.

Joshua Tree(God's Country) - Always brings me to the desert landscape with the mountains. I think that this song truly represents where they were trying to take you BEST on this album, i think of nothing but that desert when I hear this song.

Rattle and Hum(Heartland) - Brings me to that scene in the movie, where they're on the barge on the river, and then when they're in graceland. It always reminds me of that.

  2. Acrobat - dark, country road; driving along in the pouring rain
  3. ASOH: Walking home in a blizzard in the night.
  4. Bullet The Blue Sky brings me to a ship, but there's no one on it.
It's a kind of spooky ship...

Real thing brings me to a room with huge lights and all different colours. Kind of like the Discotheque videoclip...

United Colours brings me to some sort of control room, a place where they make robots...
    It's a real creepy place
  5. One - At the bottom of a big bottle of liqour after my wifes left me and took all the money to

So Cruel - The same as Gerard ^^

One Tree Hill - Looking at the sky, watching to the falling stars and the sunset, reflected in someone's eyes

    Kite - Between the clouds...

Out of Control - Rocking in my own room, volume turned on pretty loud

There're more of course, won't tell them all.

same over here -- every time again

ASOH takes me on a strange journey through different sorts of landscape, especially the first couple of lines, leading to "And your earth moves beneath your own dream landscape" - it's like I'm floating, somehow, dream landscape it is. Very strong song for me.

there are definitely a lot more, since U2 songs have that effect on me, but I'm too distracted by the lost soccer game of my team right now so I'll be back later with more

  12. a truly obvious one just came to my mind.... when I listen to "40", I always see someone in the desert, like Jesus in the scriptures, and this someone sings the lyrics. It's strange since I never see Bono, just someone who tells about his moment with God. Always the desert, and a huge high rock. I think it's what the song is supposed to do with you when you listen to it.... maybe not, but oh well, to me it does that
