1. I like it. It has its own identity. Will be getting a few more rotations in the next few weeks.
  2. This, it sounds fresh. Cool album.
  3. I respect that Noel has tried something different here , and the more I listen to this the more I like it , I'm just not so sure this one works though . It doesn't grab me like Chasing Yesterday did , as I had this one on for weeks and weeks after its release. Who Built The Moon is good, yes and definitely has its moments , but it's not great IMO. It feels a bit disjointed to me , and hopefully this will change over the course of time.

I think the standout tracks here are Ft Knox (I dig the female vocals on it and this tune has to be played as LOUD AS POSSIBLE to fully enjoy), Its A Beautiful World (love this funky tune), She Taught Me How To Fly (New Order ?) Black & White Sunshine, Man Who Built The Moon (I agree that this has a bit of a "James Bond" feel)... also Dead In The Water (which is a live studio recording) is brilliant, but sounds unfinished to me . I wish he would have properly recorded this gem of a tune.

For me , this release falls far short of his previous 2 albums, which are (IMO) his best works since Morning glory . They had classic after classic like Record Machine, Stop The Clocks, IIHAG, Death of you and Me, Dream On , Simple Game Of Genius, Riverman,The Right Stuff,Heat of the Moment, Dying Of The Light, Song Remains the Same and of course the great Ballad of the Mighty I .

Holy Mt has received much attention ,it is a good fun dance/pop tune , but to me does have a bit of a Ricky Martin meets ABBA feel lol. I'm not so sure this one fits , as the rest of the album is pretty chill (except for Ft Knox).

Keep on Reaching is ok.. , and If Love Is The Law sounds like a solid b side to me .

Also , what's with the 2 instrumentals Wednesday pt 1 and 2 ?? They feel like filler to me and the album would have contained just 9 tracks without them .

Can you keep a secret ? yes...I just wish this release was better .
  4. Not sure Dead in the Water would fit on the album, but damn it's a nice track and I want a proper studio recording of it

It's actually a very good setlist........... for a festival. For a standalone show is far less than enough

He was losing his voice; he had to cancel a gig, maybe more.
  6. Sad how inevitable this all is.
  7. He could have still said "thank you" and "goodbye" to the crowd.
  8. Give him a break Matt , he had a cold....lol

  9. arrived today. Not the greatest album ever but it has some cool sounds and its Noel trying something different so i respect that
  10. Cum on Feel the Noise got a spin on the Australian Ashes cricket broadcast of highlights post match today, never thought I'd hear that one on TV
  11. My god, I hate the way he sings
