  2. God, I just.... I just really, really love this new album. Together with SOI it's the perfect pair.
  4. Best Thing is a killer, I just love the song, I love everything about it, the vibe, the lyrics, Bono's voice, Edge's part, one of my favs since Bomb for sure.
    Your Own Way is cool, I like the chorus, it's fun to sing along
    American Soul is nice but they had zero creativity for this song
  5. Noel Gallagher figured it out and Bono admitted it. SOI is when they were younger writing serious songs. SOE is when they got older and decided making a defiant joyful album which would be able to get their same ideas across
  6. hate to say this but i think bono got real scared about never being able to write songs again and i think he truly enjoys it so he put in a lot of his energy into writing heartfelt songs this time around. why did it take a "brush with mortality" to get him to write good songs?

    I'm not sure it did. I think most of SOE was written before he had his brush with mortality. Maybe some were tweaked But I'm sure most were written before TJT 30 tour started
  8. Summer Of Love meh
    Red Flag Day is good, really good, the only thing "off" to me is the drum part... The chorus is strong, Edge's main riff is cool
    The Showman (Little More Better) is a little Wild Honey-ish, will sound cool on the b/e stage
    Little Things sound even more interesting on studio, I love the "little things" happening through the song

    Summer of love is one of my favourites on the album.

  12. Ladyland has a Zooropa vibe (album), I dont really know if I really like it yet
    The Blackout I like the intro, brings me Zoo Station vibes, Adam's on fire on this song, 10 more points because of this, I think the chorus is kinda childish, I like the middle bridge
    Love Is Bigger reminds me of a Bon Jovi song called Room At The End Of The World, I have no idea why but through the whole song this Bon Jovi song kept ringing on my head
    13 "no I would not give you a false hope..." am I the only one that hears Mother and Child Reunion on this song? I dont like the idea of using the same chorus of other song on a new song, I get that SOI and SOE are concept albums about their lifes basicaly but they could've done a greater job not using the same chorus. I like this song, sounds cool, will be nice on the end of the setlist
