I agree with you here. It all kind of creates this special feeling for me. Just Bono stands out to me here - touching stuff. Adam and Larry on some of the tracks as well - awesome, great drum sounds which weren't evident on the last album.

Indeed they do. It is still quite produced though, its not like early 2000's and older U2 (a sound I do miss), but the songs actually stand up this time unlike SOI
