  2. Well, I listened to it last night, but I was very tired and fell asleep. I will give it another try today.
  3. So
    The Blackout
    GOOYOW
    YTBTAM
all have videos, what other songs on the album do? Would be good to see one more epic video.
  4. This album is all about Bono for me. He makes it so moving. The music itself is not all the adventurous (don't get me wrong its good), but the vocal, lyrics and melody are so moving on this one. Hit me really hard, like they haven't on a new album since I became a fan in 2005. There is some really profound stuff on there.

I still dont like Love is Bigger though- sounds like generic Christian rock. My favs are Love is All We Have Left, Lights of Home, Summer of Love, Red Flag Day the Showman, The Little Things, and 13 (and I dont like SFS).

The music To me has some new type sounds and some recycled gems. Amazing piece
  6. I agree with you here. It all kind of creates this special feeling for me. Just Bono stands out to me here - touching stuff. Adam and Larry on some of the tracks as well - awesome, great drum sounds which weren't evident on the last album.

yeah I'm not sure if SOE is less produced than SOI but it packs a bigger punch for me, the Bass and Drum standout heaps more than SOI

It's overproduced too, but the songs are so strong!

Indeed they do. It is still quite produced though, its not like early 2000's and older U2 (a sound I do miss), but the songs actually stand up this time unlike SOI

its funny I actually like this direction though with production
  11. I am mixed. I do but then I miss the Eno Lanois Style at the same time. But it works well on SOE fresh, and the bass and drums are punchy. I do miss a bit of Edge though these days... but I respect him taking a back seat because it works here. I want him BACK for SOA hahaha Want to here that "killer groove"
  12. The way I’d put it is the production fits the songs this time. Although I love SOI but I do think a few songs on there were stronger live whereas I don’t know if they will be particularly stronger live from this album, they’ve probably got them to sound as good as they can.
