Many of these songs are growers though, give them their time, take one or two listens, then let'em rest for a few hours/couple of days, then come back and you'll see there's much more below that poppy, over-polished surface. Good luck

U2 songs are almost always growers, but the shit thing with some U2 songs is that when you listen to them a couple of times you get sick of them. Both these catagories are on this album.... So choose wisely
