The Zoomerang leg, indeed. Bare in mind it was written and released after the American and European indoor shows.

yep. and as Bono said himself: 'it was a fine thing, writing some songs and putting out a record while you're still on tour, but it's another thing trying to play the fucking things.'

    LOL! Indeed

  5. I'm suggesting "Your Blue Room" again...I've described this before...but let's do it again.
The song is mostly Adam's show...as it's got this cool bass line and almost no guitar...just a backing track and drums. Why not?! We had "The First Time" which was just Bono and the Edge...let's have one which is Bono and Adam!

Edge could be in the back, playing the melody part of the backing track on a keyboard, Adam and Bono in the front (maybe an ellipse kinda thing). The song must be played as the last before the first encore...so Bono waves and disappears off the stage while Adam is still there playing the bass, then he comes to the mic and "sings" the last part of the song "zooming in...zooming out...", after that he disappears too...then Edge and Larry (kinda like 40)

Yeah true, although some Zooropa stuff was played on European shows, e.g. Wembley? With that in mind, was it more a case of stuff being played before the album was released or what?
  7. I think that was before the album was released. 'Numb' and 'Stay' feature in the setlist in Dublin. apart from that though it's pretty much the standard ZooTv setlist. (Desire and Ultraviolet in the encore etc.)

Nope, they started playing Zooropa songs after the album release only.

So, bearing in mind that they played this the day after Zooropa was released, they could have played Dirty Day during a fair few of the European shows...(considering Numb is on the setlist...)

Ah. Hence why I put indoor shows. Wembley being a large outdoor stadium was a separate leg (as was Dublin). By which time they'd gone back to America and released Zooropa.

The encore changed on the Pacific leg (dropping Ultraviolet and Desire for Daddy's and Lemon). I prefer the original encore, although I do like the swap of Bad for Dirty Day ...

Ah, only just noticed lol. My bad. I thought you'd gone lol?! Tricked us again, honestly, "cheeky sod" lol...

Dropping Desire for Lemon/Daddy's, yeah I can go with that, but Ultra-Violet? Hmmm, toughie, no doubt...why couldn't they just have made the encore a bit longer?!
