1. What I like about this one is that it's really simple. There's not a lot to this song - which is the case for a lot of this album, it's U2 stripped back in a way that they haven't really been before, unlike ATYCLB which was a sonic strip-down, this is more of a structural one - but the relative sparsity of the song itself really lets the emotion come through, it lets what's there set in with a greater punch and passion. Brilliant work.
  2. Just to hear Bono going for that 'ooooohhhh'
  3. Got to be the closer on the next tour. Cracking song
  4. "Write a world where we can belong
to each other and sing it like no other" that defines U2 to me.
  5. No one else is annoyed by all those 'oh oh oh's? The lyrics are great and I LOVE that bridge. But those 'oh oh oh's... maybe they will grow on me.

only when I see them in writing.

    Best part of the song.
  8. Yeah the ‘oh’s’ are excellent, I’ve never heard him sing them like that in the past.
  9. That plus “oh’s”. And I mean that in a nice way.
  10. Oh, to be clear I was talking about the "oh oh oh"'s from The Edge, not the "Oh,"'s by Bono at the start of some lines, I like those. Shows that everyone reacts different to the songs.
  11. I’m still in favour of this song closing the E&I shows but I’m also thinking now it would be a cracking opener going into Lights Of Home maybe, that would be an amazing way to start the shows.
