1. I guess RFD will get played.
  2. Good review, certainly agree that the Kygo remix is still better and more “unified” as they put it. The album opens with autotune, the chopped vocals in the Kygo version is just one step further.
  3. Oops double post
  4. Have had this album on constant repeat for the majority of the past week and I still cannot believe how amazing it is. Usually after a week you start skipping tracks or listen to one song more than another but I find myself having to indulge and listen to the album from start to finish.

Their most complete album since Achtung Baby. Many on here and other open U2 forums have tried to rank this album among their other albums but I find that really hard to do. For a band that has been together for 40 how can you possibly compare albums made today with those made back in the eighties and nineties.

I agree with many others here that the band is still making enjoyable and memorable music that is going to sound so good in concert throughout 2018 (just waiting on a Toronto show...).

I remember watching The Beatles Anthology and near the end Paul McCartney was asked why The Beatles have such universal acclaim and he answered that it was because most of the songs dealt with LOVE. I think the same can be said for U2. Love Is Bigger Than Anything In It’s Way can be U2’s All You Need Is Love.
