Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. Just watched it for the 2nd time. It's really good, but the mix is not good (happens often on tv performances)...Bono is too low in the mix. Edge sounded great though, very raw.
  2. They performed well on SNL. Only if Adam's bass was mixed higher on AS then it would rate higher.
  3. As for SNL. U2 were great is the conclusion I think people are trying to draw. Our Saoirse though... Dear oh dear! It's bad news when Aer Lingus pulling the piss out of you is funnier than you trying to pull the piss out of them! (Check Aer Lingus's Trump-esque troll on Twitter.) Is SNL always this terribly unfunny?!
  4. K not sure what some of you guys are on about, American Soul is fuckin LARGE in that performance. Yes, Edge’s Guitar is too loud in the mix, yes, Bono needs to figure out his megaphone business, yes Edge needs to add delay and reverb to that bent Guitar note after the second chorus.

    But otherwise, damn. DAMN.
  5. Listening to Bono & The Edge on Howard Stern!

You don’t think the mix is severely lacking in bass? I think the actual playing by the band and singing by bono were good but they weren’t mixed properly.
