Yeah just stumbled upon it, really interesting indeed! We will also use this as one of the sources for our upcoming article on the Origins of the album & songs. A real in-depth analysis of all lyrics, music etc. Published tomorrow

Great review, Kris. Well-written and I think spot on in describing the album as both slightly pessimistic with what's happened in the world and to Bono personally, yet also fused with "defiant joy" and hope.

In so many parts of the album Larry bursts into Ringo drum rolls. Later parts of Lights especially.
