Before I go any further, please note I'm fairly techno. illiterate lol;
Having just about had it with Rapidshare for the moment, I figured I'd just ask some questions techno- and Rapidshare related stuff if anyone can help. I've been getting the "too many wrong codes" and download sessions etc. on RS, and just now it said that my IP address was busy downloading a session, yet I went on http://www.myipaddress.com/what-is-my-ip-address/ and it said my IP address is completely different to the one that came up on RS just now. Clearly there's something wrong, but I'm wondering if there's an error with the way my IP address is actually being processed or something. What can affect it? e.g. would having both a wireless and a wired connection running through a broadband hub make any difference?
Apologies in advance for rambling nature of post lol...
EDIT - I tried a couple of things download wise, the John Legend Pride cover audio and that came up with a code to enter, so I figured I'd try it with a bootleg I wanted (the 1989 Point Depot gig) and it did the same, so I entered the code and then it came up with a thing saying that an error had occurred with 3 different possible explanations, none of which I think I come under lol (unless I'm subject to a proxy server without knowing it). I now just tried the New York 2004 (Fulton Ferry Park) show, and it says I've reached the download limit and to wait 53 minutes despite not actually having downloaded anything lol

What happens is IP addresses run in a 'range' type setup. For example, say your IP address is 187.98.87.12 - anyone who has a similar IP address like 187.98.87.13 is likely to be downloading something from a server with a similar IP addres and it confuses the 12 for the 13. It wouldn't matter because the first three sets of numbers are being used and that's what RapidShare goes on. There are some other suggestions to get around the problem:

That one won't work if your IP address is fixed. To check in Windows:
Click Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Local Area Connection (right-click) > Properties > Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) > Properties. If Obtain IP address automatically is checked then you will have to wait; otherwise you can change your IP at will.

You could also try using AltaVista.com and click BabelFish. Translate the web page from Japanese to English - this has worked for me several times before.
About the wired vs wireless connections - if the two are sharing the same or similar IP address which they most likely can (is one or the other or both connected at the same time?) then one might be tripping up the other.
