  3. This song has reduced me to tears once again. After listening to Bono's comment from the Amazon thingy (highly recommended, btw), I listened to it in the quiet of the night with nothing but the moonlight (although I'm not on Killiney Bay yet) and well, I can tell you that's a powerful feeling. This song is bigger than anything in its way.

  5. Yes. Pride can be cheesy, but it's got balls, so to speak. This is melodically cheesy. Second weakest song on the album for me, after the unnecessary mumble 13.

    Paha, yes indeed.

    Love is Bigger.. was the first song (that I knew nothing about) that actually did make me sit up and go 'oooooh'. On later listens it's lost a bit of sheen but I rather like it. Not the best on the album but far from the least best, as it were.
  7. Although RFD is still probably my favorite, Bono's first "Whoaaaa" in the first chorus of Love is Bigger was the first moment of pure, PURE U2 I had heard in so long, it was like rediscovering a feeling.

    I prefer 13. The lovey stuff on this track all seems fake to me. IMHO.
  9. This is the best song on the album in my opinion and as I was thinking the other day, probably in my top 10 too! love it.
  10. +1. 13 reduces me to tears, while this one still doesn't do as much for me. I do believe Bono really means this as a heartfelt message to his kids...But even after slightly growing on me after repeated listens, it still reminds me of songs like Walk On where the sentiment is nice and it sounds like "classic U2", but doesn't move me on a more subtle, deeper level.

    Let's just hope that U2 doesn't use masks of a certain someone while playing this song on E & I.
  11. I haven't been this excited about a new U2 song since Beautiful Day. I think its nothing short of epic.

    Sounded great when they played it live in London too, which just aired here in Toronto a few hours ago.
