1. BD already up too.

  2. I'm sure Willy Wonka was on some channel if you'd have preferred that

I think some fans are out of touch with reality, expecting a bunch of guys in there mid 50’s to be the same band they were in there 20’s or 30’s perhaps. Sometimes perfection doesn’t make a great performance, bono was giving it his all, if people can’t see that then I think they were watching a different performance.

    +1
Loved the new songs, brought tears to my eyes.

I think you’re one of the gang that’s hearing something different, you need to adjust the settings on your tv or earphones perhaps. Anyway Lights Of Home and Love is Bigger in particular as well as GOOYOW prove that u2 have still got it, the band gave it there all.
  5. WOWY Love will tears us apart............they know they listen they tease........Amazing

Stuck and the Sao Paulo footage were the best.

Love Is Bigger was disappointing. Too heavily dependent on backing tracks. Hopefully this will change by the time the tour comes around.

That describes most of their live output since 1994

That would be sad, if this is all they can give. My equipment and my ears are pretty good, don't worry.

  9. A spot on review. Glad to see the band perform but my main gripes are with the program as a whole.

“Arguably the most revealing part of U2 at the BBC didn’t take place at Abbey Road at all, but during a sojourn backstage at the Sao Paolo leg of the Joshua Tree tour. Here Clayton punctured the glamour of the rock star life for Deeley, charmingly displayed the pink kimono he enjoys wearing backstage and laughed over the fact they couldn’t figure out the well-labelled TV controls. It was a shame that this wasn’t more prominent – I could have easily watched such exploits for an hour”
  10. What's Willie going to do? Turn the lights off? His favourite song is Happy Birthday, the man has no taste.
