  2. I must be hearing something nobody else did or it's just me, WOWY sounded the best it has in a while
  3. First half was very good. He kinda lost it thereafter but I’ll not bash him for maybe getting caught up in the moment.

I didn’t say he was wrong, I said I think he was wrong which is an opinion in itself. I’m usually happy to debate an issue but we were that far apart in our view, both with the comment I responded to and previous comments, that it wasn’t worth getting into.
  5. yes and that is also why they shouldn't play it the coming tour

Probably the record store clip will be shown and and probably 2 out of All I Want Is You, Every Breaking Wave, You're The Best Thing About Me ,13 (There Is A Light) will be played. I'm guessing Best Thing and 13 will be cut

Thank you both! It doesn't make any sense in my opinion, but that's up to them. I'll wait for the complete version and watch it all at once.
  7. U2 went down a storm on the BBC last night, despite a few niggles from viewers about Cat Deeley fronting the show.

Bono and the boys featured on U2 at the BBC, a series which has already showcased the work of Adele, Michael Buble and Sam Smith among others.

With a mix of music and interviews, it gave fans an intimate insight into the band as they are now, and their latest album Songs of Experience.

There was a massive response to the show on Twitter with the vast majority of people praising the band's sound and longevity and some were positive despite themselves it seemed!

The only gripes were Cat's presenting skills and the fact the programme was 'too short' and should have been 'two hours long'...

    Aoife Kelly (Dec. 20)

I too enjoyed it...although the interviews seemed to spoil the magic. The 2nd airing on December 28 is supposed to be 10-15 minutes longer, so let's hope it'll feature one or two songs extra
  8. Agree about the interview, her style felt out of kilter.

Great watch, was smiling all the way through.
  9. Loved it. Love the band playing with an orchestra
A verry nice X mas gift this year.........
  10. During the interview sections the number of chairs available for the band went from 4 to 2, were the BBC playing some sort of musical chairs?
