    He is a bit shaky, but it feels like he has no energy. Sometimes it sounds likes he dosnt even want to try to hit the high notes.

    Its a bit worrying that he dosnt hit the notes in EBW even in one step lower on this tour. The 2014 versions and some of the 2015 was played one step faster.

    It was the same thing with Wide Awake in Bad, Say Its True in NYD, he dosnt seem to give any energy on those songs anymore.

    Still, with the YouTube versions out there I’m sure it’d be pretty low rent for someone to splice a HQ Audio of the performance parts together
  3. Problem is: there is no HD material available from the RTE broadcast. At least I’m not aware of. Hence, Best Thing e.g. will be SD only. Would be just fantastic if sb recorded the RTE broadcast in HD or was able to capture the stream on their web site which is still available in Ireland.
  4. I'm pretty sure that versions of the RTE HD broadcast are sitting on PVRs and Sky boxes up and down Ireland. We just need a few folks to get the cables out.

    Such an arse the BBC have made of this by not showing the whole thing. Maybe on the red button.

    RTE HD is widely available across Ireland...someone will have captured it

    Agreed.

    I thought 2015 was a bit down on energy, but watching performances from then and this year is pretty stark for me. Whatever happened at the end of 2016 has taken a big hit on him imo.... nothing against him at all, just an observation.

    Slippery slope here. Some people called us drunk when we thought there was something off with bono during the JT tour. Apparently those who have watched him over the past 30 + years with a good eye were right. As confirmed by his admittance of a serious health scare.

    Is he still smoking?? He started again after his back injury in 2010 but not sure if he still does
