3.Neal Peart is one of the best drummers of all time, a great lyricist, and possibly the best drum soloist of all time.

    (waits for arguements)

I ain't gonna argue lol, 'cause I can't BUT the thing is, it's all perspective. I could pick some random artist who no one else knows and say that they're the best in their field, and no one else would be able to say anything to the contrary because no one's got any knowledge of their work.

As it happens, I'm not going to lol, but I hope you get the jist

What Ali said take it easy big man!
  7. Ok, here's mine.....INXS

    REASONS

    - Michael Hutchence was one of the most charismatic front-men of all time, and had an amazing voice.
    - They're completely original, can't find a band that sounds like them at all. Some people say they sound a lot like U2, which I don't agree with.
    - Kick was one of the biggest albums of the 80's
    - Great songwriters
    - Kirk Pengilly is an amazing Guitar player, not to mention Saxophone.
    - Their Wembley gig in '91 was absolutely amazing.
    -etc.....

Just search INXS Live Baby Live on youtube and you'll see what I mean.

    All the best Jeremy.
  9. I agree with you. Shame Hutch killed himself. They probally coulda made a hell of a comeback album.

Yep, such a shame. Hutch was amazing. Their new album is great, but kinda hard for me to listen to...
  11. I understand. The same deal as Queen with Paul Rodgers or Alice In Chains with William Duvall. There both great singers but it just aint the same, and neither is J.D. Fortune. At least they still have Kirk on guitar and sax though.

I've never heard any of their stuff...

But I shall follow your advice (if YouTube wants to be friendly to me...)
