The story of me getting into U2 was when my brother and I were coaching a littleleague baseball team, and going to and from practice I heard this song on the radio a few times....."In the name, of love...what more in the name of love..." and it just grew from there! That was summer '96, and also my cousin was a tour accountant w/ TNA, who managed the PopMart tour, so he got me some great seats to the Toronto shows, and it all grew from there!
The beauty part is that I didn't listen to music before that song got in my head. From U2, I branched out into what they listened to, and their influences and such! Opened many windows for me!
