1. On a general point the whole ticket sale market has now become a complete racket...it's actually offputting at this stage between the exorbitant fees & charges that are lumped on top of the ticket price. But guess nobody forces folk to buy tickets !

Then they can't resell that easily anymore, not in Ticketmasters interest.

We have to remind ourselves that Verified Fan doesn't exist to make our lives better.
  3. So I got nothing. Had a couple seats for Copenhagen in the basket and payd them and all but got an error message after that and they seem to be gone!
  4. Crazy that I can't get to a u2 gig that is 20 miles from my house but can see them all over the UK and Europe. Surely it will be easy to pick something up.
  5. Got myself 2 Manchester tickets and stupidly never looked at the seating chart so I'm right behind the stage. So I'll just have to try again and sell these ones

It would help if the seating chart was on the ticket page, hate the fact you can’t select your own tickets, experience pre sale yesterday allowed you to book your own tickets certainly for Berlin, I think it’ll be available later on.

Yes ,its main purpose is to act as a facade for the public to think Ticketmaster actually want to deter touts.
Fact is its main purpose is to make money for Ticketmaster as they have more control of the market for events with Verified Fan and combined with their dynamic ticket pricing its a win win for them.
They are the biggest touts of all.

Not really. In the first rounds you were able to choose the price category and (if given) upper or lower tier. then it was trial and error until you got the block you wanted.

Later the day, when the run was over, you were able to choose specific seats.

But it's easy. Don't print the name on the ticket, pin it to the barcode. If someone resells via the verified reseller platform, then TM can easily change the name behind the barcode and that will pop up when scanned. it could be THAT simple.

Agree, it p1$$es me off when it defaults to best available seats at 220 Euro when the category you select is sold out, the Dutch site is a nightmare as literally loads of seat options come up! As I’ve said hopefully fan club demand for added dates will be lower and more options available
