1. Hey all

Does anyone know a good resource for helping me set up my guitar effects to relate to specific U2 songs? Like what delay settings Pride needs, what's the distortion etc for UTEOTW....

Also, I've been really trying to find the keyboard sequence for Bad....any leads on that or any other sequences (One Tree Hill, MOFO, Love Is Blindness, etc) would help...

If anyone's interested, found a great link w/ a GREAT amount of detail about Edge's use of echo
    http://www.amnesta.net/edge_delay/

    Talk to all later
  2. The site you referred to is probably the best one regarding the settings. Unfortunately (for us players) Edge's sound is one of a kind. It might be easier to ask others around here what settings they use to get the Edge sound.

Here's another link that might be helpful:

Hate to be blunt but I'm not really gonna be much help lol, but you never know. I use a Zoom GR1X Effects Pedal (or something like that, I think that's the one) and my most Edge-esque tone is a combination of compression, delay and reverb with the pedal function set to gain, so you can switch between something kinda close to Streets and a more UTEOTW tone. I'll check the settings but I don't know whether it's be any use because I don't know whether the thing is generic or not...

  4. Mattfromcanada,

I AM AN IDIOT!!! I read your post and was so self absorbed I didn't realize I asked the same question just the other day. Here's how I got the sequencer tracks for "Bad":
