  1. Got GA for Paris night two last night through album presale. Surprised they were still onsale.
    Hotels nearby Bercy reasonable too.Worth a look as GA in UK is impossible at the moment.
  2. Seriously over £200 for a seat level 4 of the O2 London - I'm at a place called Vertigo ! Who is going to pay those prices to sit up there ?
    No wonder standing tickets are being held back, to get rid of the nosebleeds.
    Do members think this will sell out especially with hopefully at least one extra London date expected ? Will London 2 happen if London 1 remains available ?

Very interesting article cheers for the link.I guess by driving up the cost of most seats, U2 are just trying to find the fans maximum ticket price, and I guess in a way this will reduce the amount of secondary market resale. LiveNation clearly not interested in stopping that as they are making money twice. Only problem is touts may struggle to sell on the £200 plus tickets, so the standing tickets will probably command a premium mark up. Shame procedures are not in place to mean only original purchaser of standing tickets can get in, it wouldn't be difficult to implement

  7. In my opinion ticketmaster and livemation are working on a price strategy like Ryanair, dynamic pricing Every price level and every moment of purchase has is own customer. Price management is the new way of making more money.
  8. Because the sale for Europe starts on friday, then a lot will sell out.

Danish Gaffa Shop who distributed the CD with presale code has been in contact with U2 management as last Monday's presale was a disaster where very few seems to have been able to buy any tickets. In the statement from U2's management one can predict that there will be more concerts announced within next few days and that one can use not used presale code to these events.

    We have experienced overwhelming demand for the first show so far, and of course we can only fulfill orders while ticket supplies last. We wanted to remind you all that if more shows are added, anyone who has an unused code will be able to try again. We expect to be able to give you more information within the next few days. Your feedback is important to us! Thanks”.

    No tout is going to buy the £200 plus seats ,they will target standing and the cheapest seats as they are underpriced vs their true worth.
