1. Yeah I was on for London at 9 on the dot and no GA. 4th day now been messed around being late for work etc. Maybe means lots in general sale
  2. I'd rather take my chances in the battle with the touts than not be able to afford to go at all. £200 for a seat is just greed plain and simple.

its a joke, dont give the option if there are no tickets for GA! I hate the ticketmaster site it's so bad to navigate and takes an age! to get a zero return, thankfully Eventim are selling for Manchester so hopefully some joy tomorrow and into next week with second dates (Still have my U2.com code and Album code)
  4. 100% someone on other forums will say they bagged GA's in the live nation pre sale. Does anyone know if they can be forced to provide detail of ticket allocations put on sale, i'm suspecting they gone st8 to getmein for resale

Who knows, kev. I got shut out of GA tickets for the U.S. pre-sale leg and bought a second tier side stage front row ticket after the pre-sales for the first show for $170 each. Wasn't happy about that when I saw better tickets for that same price at the second show... But then I found a GA ticket on Ticketmaster for less than that price for the second show AFTER all the sales... Re-sale ticket but for a decent price. Ticket drops always happen before shows... In my case, I have to book a hotel so I needed to lock in tickets ahead of time. Keep checking! Best of luck to y'all in the second leg!
  6. I tried in Live Nation for some Manchester seats but limited to 4 again. I did get offered 2 in a block I already have 2 for (as have bought 2 x pairs in case I can't get 4 together) but frustratingly by the time I double checked it was the same block I got timed out!!
  7. I've got two GA tickets for Manchester using my U2.com innocence presale code, the date could prove difficult for me.What are the chances do you think of securing GA for London in the public general sale tomorrow? If not then what about if/when the 2nd nights get added.

Same here Onelight, i'm lucky Manchester is only 35 miles away, and have family i can stay with so no need to book hotels and travel, i haven't bitten yet on my second show, most likely i'll do Berlin again (amazingly interesting city), so Hotel, Flight etc comes into play for me and the missus, i'm keen to get GA's boxed off ASAP for either the current or additional dates, i'm certain Berlin will get a second show Saturday 1st September, and Manchester will likely get a second show either thursday or Saturday, plus i have Dublin / Belfast on hand if things dont work out, i'm fairly comfortable right now in not having tickets (normally i'd be stressing out), still have my U2 codes etc so confident i'll get what i want shortly!
  9. Bring back the good old days when you used to sit on the phone for an hour or more hitting redial to get tickets for gigs.Yes I know,I'm old!!!

I remember just going to the record store and being able to buy them.

When they went to only phones or venue it was a nightmare queuing at pay phone! At least this is better than that.
  11. For London tomorrow are both AXS and Ticketmaster selling tickets?

I've had a look on both websites and both are showing the event. I know AXS you go in a queue and it is random, at least it was in the presales.

ha ha ha or queuing up at venue outlets...TJT tour 87 at Edinburgh i had to send off to a record shop in Edinburgh a stamped addressed envelope and postal orders to get tickets, i queued up at the royal court theatre in liverpool for wembley tickets, and sent off to the NEC an application for tickets.....online though is much better if only they got rid of that bloody captcha.

I'd happily queue at a venue though for Guaranteed GA tickets met some really nice people in the past queueing for tickets for various concerts and sporting events
