backstage interview with adam and pre-show footage from twickenham appeared in this last night.

whether the JT2017 live footage (streets, still haven't found) shown also originates from twickenham is anyone's guess. And if anyone watches it on iplayer the idea that the police played the red cow pub in hammersmith on the same night as u2 played the hope and anchor in 1979 is laughable.

That was a good watch, and not just for the U2 content which fills the first 10 minutes, with a few more words from Adam just before the credits roll.

Personally speaking I don't think the actual live footage of Streets was from Twickenham, as from my recollection on night #2 where I was seated in the heavens near the back, the sun hadn't gone down until after the entire TJT set, whereas it looked quite dark on the footage here. That said for Twickenham #1, I was like two people off the front barrier in front of Bono, and it looked fairly dark throughout, so it could just be because of how the cameras are positioned making it look darker than it actually is.

A good watch though if you like live music in general, and it pretty much confirms that ticket prices have been deliberately inflated way beyond reasonable value to the point of charging what people are prepared to pay for them largely because of how people have acquired their new music (by and large) in more recent years.

Spot on, and also Bono's hair was dramatically different at the start of the tour compared to twickenham,

I Believe this live footage is from Vancouver

U2 posted a clip of Vancouver 1 on social media the next day. It was pro footage. Surely they won't release the first show of the tour on DVD?!

I'll be watching this series, thanks for posting it up. Wherever the live clips are from, I'm reassured that they have filmed some material
  6. Actually, there's absolute no need for an official DVD, since we have the glorious eternal footage by Tim Newell and Paulo Vetri, all 4k@60.

But in Sao Paulo I remember Bono acting for the camera with no on screen video at all, maybe they recorded but cancelled it.

Who knows, there was also pro shot footage released from the rose bowl show as well as if you was a U2.com member you would have seen these in the five part Joshua Tree 30 videos

    Pro-footage from Twickenham also.
  9. I will be very disappointed if there is no tour DVD, it was the first tour I saw them live at, and it was glorious, barr a stale set list it was an amazing show and flawless tour. Plus stadiums too

There has to be a DVD show
  10. I would have thought if releasing one they would have done it for Xmas gone. Next Xmas is more likely E&I. They're missing a trick if they don't.

I reckon on U2.com, the subs should have an option to pay more to get audio streams of live shows. I love the mixlr but does my nut in when they buffer. If got a clean stream each date, that is worth an extra £20 easily.
