1. Yeap, it is really ridiculous talking about all those measures being adopted in order to get the tickets to the real fans when all that talk and all the measures come from the biggest scalpers of them all.
  2. Just noticed there are no tickets for Dublin or Belfast showing up on Seatwave which is very strange in a good way.
  3. I think the 'U2 company' should buy up all these resale tickets, and then let fans enter a lottery to buy them at face value, with strict rules that those who win them cannot sell them on.

    Wishful thinking!
  4. There were some crazily-priced Belfast tickets on StubHub last night, probably still there now-some chancer looking £799 per GA!
  5. Ticketmaster won't necessary put it to Seatwave, they have the Platinum category for that.

Seatwave is terrible though, not good for the seller nor buyer. I have a ticket that I don't need and Ticketmaster suggests to sell it at Seatwave, we know why haha

They couldnt even sell out Belfast in 2015 ,there were loads of extra tickets released close to the gigs .
I saw top priced tickets reduced to £60 on Ticketmaster the week of the gig.
It will be the same this year ,Belfast is a soft market.

Some gigs seem to get ear marked to be sold like that it seems. The Belfast shows were officially sold out. For most 2015 London shows tickets were as easy to buy as going to the cinema.

I will say that there won't be many in Belfast wanting to spend £200 to go to a U2 gig, yet there are none currently available at any price.
  8. Has anyone heard of anyone being audited? During this latest presale i was able to use my Experience code to buy 1 GA ticket for Amsterdam and 1 for Hamburg. Being 2 am and having to make snap decisions re locations I never really thought about the rule about 2 tickets 1 show only, and the code worked fine. I now wonder about the audit and risk of losing the tickets if and when that will happen. That said the whole presale thing was such a shambles i cant imagine U2.com or Ticketmaster being capable of even running an audit ...
  9. Ticketmaster E-tickets are now active to print - if you didn't know already......well at least for Dublin they are.
  10. Not at all? Probably a promoter thing. Here in Spain the local promoter (DoctorMusic, ruled by Neo Sala) actually forbids Ticketmaster/Livenation to put U2 tickets up for resale in their own sites (aka Seatwave). By contract. Of course he can't do shit with Viagogo and other secondary market platforms, but at least it's something.

not sure if it's something when Oseary has something to do with Viagogo
  12. I just got my "CC (not Corps Consulaire)" tickets (sigh of relief) by LR/AR.
I also got the pins for the i+e tour that I ordered from U2.com just as a test prior to ordering gifts (for more money for friends. It took two weeks from the transaction).

Amidst Paris 4, I see in Sweden the possibillity of buying more than 4 tickets at discount. Pinch of salt with info is the word, I presume.

Other than my tickets, I have suggested some friends and aquaintances that are probably not members here (yet) to have a look at this page.

As a law abiding citizen, I dislike it when someone tells me things like "Oh, you Went through presales? We sit all four together, and no U2.com fees!" Yet I am the one feeling ike the fool on the hill...

Paris 4 and hopefully (surely?) London 3, 4 will define my planning (hotels, flights etc). London is intresting for me due to the Eurostar.

Anyone with experience from packages? This is being said due to the high prices, and I am considering/trying to Think outside of the box regarding total prices divided by attendees.

From my seat, I will at times have a better view (Close up) of the band than many in the Red Zone. Experience on that?

Thanks to this Site, I have been able to help out quite a few! Cheers to that!
