1. Attempt for a fitting one-liner: "Yes, but it still is U2" ...

    No?
  2. at this point I love pop as much as I do just to spite certain fans

no, but really, I love pop. one of their most cohesive albums, in my opinion.
  3. It was your first U2 show, right? Was it also your first concert ever? I do sympathize you know...it's just that my first concert ever was Joshua Tree...and before that UABRS was the thing that had me closest to a concert
(Those musical imprints on a teenage mind are so defining...)
  4. Wake Up Dead Man to me has one of the most honest Man-God conversation pieces I've ever heard....."Jesus Help Me, I'm alone in this world, and a Fucked up World it is too." That's raw and laying it out there. As an Evangelical Christian I suppose the world thinks I'm supposed to be offended by that, but I am absolutely not; in fact I find it earnest and worshipful. There are times I would gladly sing this in church. There are I think times when we can ask God and host 'WFT' which I think is what Bono is doing.

first U2 show yes, first show ever no (first was Pink Floyd in 1994). But Pop became my favourite few years later and definitely wasn't love on first listen... I started to appriciate it after hearing it live. But it grew on me (and maybe still growing )
  7. Is gonna be new songs,b sides, demos from pop???
  8. Well, we can always hope. Maybe sometime after the band retire... ...even though if I had to bet I'd say Pop has probably got more alternate mixes and demos than almost any of their other projects.

Yep, I can agree with this assessment.

Yes i guess there are a lot of material from that's sessions. We had "novelty act" and "the sun,the moon and the stars" waiting to see the light.
  11. Even if you'd loved it or hate it it'll be a nice throwback if they do a song or two for next tour
