I was at concert in Sarajevo when Edge sing a lot of songs (Bono's voice was bad)...
Edge has good voice for back vocals, not for lead.
I know this topic is just a bit of a fun but I really couldn’t pick anyone to replace Bono as front man. I’d rather have a refund. It does get me thinking though how different life could have been if they’d split when the tensions rose back in the early 90’s. No Achtung baby or anything else that followed for that matter, probably band members trying there own thing out that would never have lived up to u2’s stuff. It’s just great to still have them around together. To sort of go back to the question now, not a fitting replacement but I really like Brandon Flowers voice, wouldn’t mind hearing him doing a few u2 covers but just not as a u2 labelled show with the band members of u2.
