  11. Just read this on the U2 subreddit, a reply to a question about standout performances...

    I have dozens of U2 bootlegs up through ZooTV, but I'd have to dig through my old cd's to really comment. What stands out in my memory was a Zoo show from somewhere in France (probably Paris) where there's some antagonistic asshole in the audience during Bullet the Blue Sky and Bono loses it on him and starts yelling at the guy to "Shut the fuck up!" over and over again until security finally kicks him out. It stands out because you don't generally hear about Bono freaking out on people. I'll try to figure out which show it was this weekend if you're interested.


    Judging by my bootleg history it looks like I've heard the Paris show (though its been seven years) but not Lyon, France. If this did indeed come from a French show. Reviews on either French ZooTV show don't mention this moment, I have to reckon it would appear in someone's review.

    Anyone know what show is in question here?
  12. I heard the Lyon show and it is a great show, I have no memory of Bono shouting that in that show. What I do know is that there was an asshole ruining the show in Barcelona. As Pimm writes, a guy was throwing "a huge amount of water" to Bono during the b-stage. He was enraged, and finding no sympathy from the crowd, the show was ruined.
