  1. Today it's 50 years since Dr. King was shot in the streets of Memphis.

    May his memory live on forever and light our way in these dark times.

    Like anybody, I would want to live a long life.
    Longevity has its place, but I’m not concerned about that now.
    I might not get there with you,
    but I want you to know tonight
    that we as a people will get to the promised land!



    Sleep,

  4. I Like this Man.one of My idols together with Gandhi and Mandela.Like Bono Said years ago : I love and adore this men not because i would Like to be Like them but just because i can't be Like them.
    I knew him because Pride was one of My first 12" ever bought.even if i'm an atheist i believe in the power of love and God.whoever he may be.
    Love live His thoughts.i Got His books.sometimes i have a look.just as a refresh.i used to have a poster of him in the hall years ago.

  6. Even thinking of this great man and his speeches makes me shiver.

    ...AND 50 years on these are dark times and I never thought the work of progress would go into reverse. RIP MLK.
