  2. Subscription gifts have been getting worse after from the ground up.
    If they’re going to have either non music gifts or gifts like this with just a few songs they could easily throw in a gigs worth of live downloads to go with it. Never mind, I guess I’m happy with the subscription just to get GA tickets.
  3. Looks nice but is a reissue and easy to find for reasonable prices on Discogs. The Anton Corban photo’s are a big plus.

  9. I can think of 10 better options than a gatefold reissue of something the hardcore have picked up at some point in the past 30 years :

    A 1989 live double vinyl, a proshot old live DVD such as say Germany 1984, a IE double CD, U23D on Blu Ray, a set of 7"s for Songs Of Innocence, CD of Wide Awake In Europe, A *full* Rattle and Hum companion CD or B-sides LP, a PopMart show for the 20th anniversary, a Songs Of Experience Remixes 12", for example.

    I think next year would be more likely to be a better gift because most fans will have renewed already for the E&I tour to receive this gift. Once we get to next year there will probably be no tour to help promote the subscription so the gift would maybe be better but then again maybe not and they could still tour in 2019. I also think there’s the possibility of a bit of a gap between tours and albums once E&I is finished so they might have to fill they years with impressive gifts or they’re really going to struggle to get subscribers .
  12. I'm not sure what there is in their fanclub release strategy at the moment apart from randomly picking things and hoping we'll not cancel.

    I always hoped a "Show Of The Year" CD release that covered every touring cycle with an unissued show would be a quick and easy win, but they can't be bothered with that.

    Unimpressed.
