    While Europe is deciding who is the best soccer club in the world, North-America will be watching the best hockey teams at work !

    And this year, mi beloved Montreal Canadien are first in the Est ! And my russian avatar was named comback player of the year. The city is going nuts, in every restaurant window and on almost every car you can see a Habs banner !

    The series will start thursday against Boston. But I doubt we can match up against the teams in the West if we make it to the finals

    If there are any hockey fan in this room, well please, be heard
  2. Another Habs fan here They had an awesome season, nobody expected to see them first in the East (or even in the playoffs) I'm hoping they'll get to the finals and bring us back the Stanley Cup!

    Like you said, the teams in the West will be hard to beat (ie San Jose). For the first series vs. Boston, I think Habs will win in 5 games

    but, happy to see a U2\HABS fan ! But, who ever went to the bell Center see a Habs game can'tt not notice the huge amount of U2 songs being played their

    on this ..

  4. Ha! Bruins fan here. Canadiens destroyed the Bruins this year and have had their number the past couple years but I'm smelling an upset here. Bruins need to stay out of the penalty box, as if they play even strength I think Boston has a good chance.

    I didn't expect to see one here, actully, but sorry do dispoint you but even with Bergeron my habs should roll

    but still, I't wont be a blow-out, so it might be an upset ! Who knows ?

  8. The young mighty Blackhawks were only 3 points away. They had a tremendous season and Chicagoans are starting to watch the sport again (or even for the first time, myself included).... 9 years and counting since we made the playoffs, but we will definitely will be a force next year with the 19 year old youngens- Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews.

    I'd love to see Habs vs. Caps for the East finals. Imagine Ovechkin and Huet vs. Kovalev and Price
  11. I agree --I have great respect for the venerable and mighty Habs, since we seem to have quite a few of their veterans on our team now!
