    Well it’s not exactly forced, you can still chose to only listen to the song without using AR. Every artist has got there own preference and u2 have always wanted to push the boundaries when it comes to technology at least since zoo tv. I think using it in a very limited way shows off what can be done but doesn’t impact the overall concert experience for those that aren’t keen on using technology.

    It's part of Bono's liberal worldview to not appear tyrannical. So he is 'embracing' an issue instead of banning it.

    However it is funny that many music acts who dress themselves up as freedom fighters actually impose authoritarian measures.

  4. I think they should announce AR will be pre show / entrance and also post show as the band exit the building , forcing fans to preserve battery during the show til its over
