  1. It’s not quite giving them away, you have to have a ticket already and they’ll change it for a GA if you’re selected, there’s no doubt though that the sales haven’t went well.
  2. They might as well be free when Stubhub are selling behind the stage seats for $13.


  3. We are always talking about ticket drops as well. Nothing is ever sold out.
  4. There are a ton of open seats behind the stage but no one wants to sit there. If you look around the arena on stub hub ticket prices are high and there aren't many left with a good view.
  5. Given the layout and not being able to see the screen I doubt anyone wants to sit there. I’m glad the sellers on StubHub are losing out on money.
  6. I wonder if they’ll reimburse fans who get selected if they paid more for there seating ticket compared to the price of GA. It’s subscribers only so there’s a good chance that with having first go subscribers bought the seats that were more expensive than Ga for a good location maybe the 2nd tier seats price wise.
  7. I went to all 8 shows at msg in 2015. Sat behind the stage for 4 of them. Searts were in high demand then , unlike now, so I had no choice. Those seats are underrated imo. I was closer to the band and especially since they weren’t my only shows, the screen wasn’t important. I get it if you’re only going to one show, but they did have screans that showed the visuals.
  8. True but this is beyond disheartening. I can’t evercrecall a time where tickets were so easy to get fir a u2 show. Back in the day, I camped outside TM outlets to get tickets lol. I’m not sure why, I know u2 aren’t as relevant as they used to be but I can’t help feel it has everything to do with the outrageous prices.

  10. True that. There are bands that tour every year and still sell out. But you can’t do that AND charge these prices. And their new material isn’t exactly setting the world ablaze like in 2000 and 2004.
  11. I think the US have maybe turned against the band slightly or they just aren’t as big there anymore given that they also toured Europe as many times but have sold tickets very well there. True that they did an extra leg for the JT that featured the states but I don’t think that’s made a difference.

    I think Dean May have a point as well but the other thing is you have to look at some locations. I can’t get tickets in Montreal and trying to get them for JT I+E and 360 in Toronto was impossible when you have to get them in advance and consider a lot of travel.

    Ticket drops are great for last minute but not if you need to travel.
