Tour: Experience and Innocence tour
Songs played: 29
Audio recordings: 1
  1. I think they could spruce up that SOI section without changing any of the SOI songs at all. Replace or rotate (for 2 nighters) SBS with Please and Until with The Fly.

So surprised Little Things isn't there, I thought that would be this tours' Every Breaking Wave.

I don't like lip synching. You don't mind it. Agree to disagree?

If you read my previous posts you'll see that I'm not a whiner. I like the show's concept, the setlist and generally have a positive attitude towards what U2 as artists decide to do. However, there's one thing that I don't like and that's miming. If the vocals are prerecorded and Bono doesn't move his mouth it's okay by me. But miming is not. But it doesn't take away from enjoying the show from song no. 2 on.
I wasn't trying to offend you, more to be funny.

It's a funny thing to be upset over this for me, hence the 5 years old comment. But I don't see being 5 years old as insulting (and I also assumed you're not 5 anyway).

If I did offend you however, apologies.

I get your point, but I think when he was miming there he wasn't really visible on the screens. What I'm saying is maybe he just enjoyed humming it along and the miming part wasn't for the show, as much.

I guess I could've understood your point better if he was actually lip-syncing with the mic, pretending to be performing and all.

Although I'd love it, the problem with replacing SBS with Please is, it leaves a very long stretch (6 songs) without a hit for the casuals.

So along with your change, they could replace SFS with AIWIY. It's a song the casuals will know, falls right in the middle of the long stretch, fits the theme of SFS. Also it would add some variety to the 2015 SOI rehash, & we wouldn't get SFS & 13 (which I think is far superior) both in the same show. Won't happen though, those SFS graphics are an integral part of the show.

    I miss The Fly.
  4. In the beginning of Wild Horses, you can hear the iem countdown in the mix lol

For all I care the other 24 songs are 12 times Pride and One. Best show of my life.

    Love this. Bring on Chicago!
  6. Also: 27 songs! Wow. After typically only 21 on TJT last year. Look at it that way, and the repeated “Inmocence Suite” is just a big bonus.
  7. Well noticed! Lol
I think I wouldn't even notice, because I've been listening to IEM's so much. I even sometimes do the counts in my head when listening to official releases.

    I miss The Fly.
Yeah it's a shame they're tied to the visuals so much these days. As great as the visuals are for UTEOTW, I bet the Zoo TV visuals for The Fly would look absolutely incredible on that screen.

Good point about Please, AIWIY would work really well

It does make you wonder what they'all do for the inevitable DVD release. Repeating an entire section doesn't look too good. Still, early days yet!
  9. Damn that acrobat solo really makes me miss the edge. He’s been so mediocre on the last few albums.

Overall good set. I have a bad feeling Wild Horses ain’t make it and it’ll go the way of Miracle Drug. Which would really suck. Unless it’s rotated with the fly. My only two big complaints is the repeated SOI section (dead horse at this point) and LOH. After blackout they should go straight into BD. Or if you wanna fill that spot with new material there’s this great song from SOE called Red Flag Day.

Also the Elevation,V, Desire section sure does suck on paper but I can’t imagine the energy it brings in person.

If Desire is performed fully electric (I haven't seen the vids but I'm fairly certain it is) then that section must kick asses big time – nevermind how tired those hits are for us setlist-nerds.
