Wow, that's a monster! Did that shot of Larry playing the drums to start out the movie take your breath away like it did mine??

I thought it was great. Shine A Light by The Rolling Stones is meant to be coming in 3D as well.

    Other parts I liked:

    - when Bono reaches out towards you with his 'Coexista' headband. I gotta get myself one of those!
    - Adam swings his bass towards you during New Year's Day
    - the camera swings over top of Edge during Miss Sarajevo on the piano

The fades were all great as were the overhead shots. Beautiful Day literally scared the life out of me, it pumped out so bloody loud.

    The photo won't upload either:

How about when they ripped into Pride after Miss Sarajevo!? That scared the crap out of me.

It went dead quiet when the deceleration came on and then BOOM, it jumps straight in and blows the thing apart.

The Fly's technical problems at the beginning were awesome - it gave the song something it needed.

Couldn't agree more about The Fly. I've been listening to it a lot lately, in fact.....I've just made it my "Song of the Moment" under my avatar!

Love and Peace was brilliant (the beginning noise went right around the whole cinema like surrounding) and as well, Bullet the Blue Sky with the fighter pilot flying across the screen made it even better seeing it on a screen that big. Plus they kept two snippets as well - I thought they were gonna get rid of them, but considering they're in every show and every soundcheck I've heard so far - they probably couldn't.

It was good to see an officially edited show (the song choice was pretty good, but safe enough so people would know it) without too many mistakes or quick zooms or vocals coming out of nowhere. At this point, *no* U2 DVD, official or not, can compare to the excitement - of what this was.
  6. Yeah, I really want to go see it again.

One thing that I did notice on the 2nd and 3rd viewings is how poorly cut Miss Sarajevo is. Not to be a wet blanket, but they interchange between Bono holding his mic and using the mic stand a bunch....oh well.

That's it for me tonight, I'm outta here. I was a bit of an insomniac last night, so I need to get some sleep. Later!

I notice the little editing mistakes all the time. When you're putting together 7 or 8 shows, I think anybody is going to get a little overwhelmed with the work. Probably a good reason why there were only a few songs in it.

    Alright, catch you later, Jeremy!
  8. Good to hear it was great Drew! It rocks very hard....gotta go again soon myself.
  9. Absolutely.
  10. possible Sao Paulo 2006 upgrade on the way if anyones interested. It sounds like a great improvement to my ears. I'll post it later tonight and see what you guys think
