    They knew exactly what they were doing when they appointed a snake oil salesman like Oseary as their manager and signed with Livenation.

  3. Do not panic buy at stupid prices. You get tot he venue area of the O2 and base yourself in one of the restaurant/pubs near the box office and you will pick up a GA ticket for face value. I did it for 4 of the 6 gigs there when i was only planning on just 2. Worth getting down there as i know fans exchange tickets too.

  7. I hope people are reading what we are saying here. These venues do have capacity restrictions but always release 'on the day' GA tickets. Or what is known as 'walk ups'. Paying £55 for the 2015 tour was fine by me. Just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere and check the box office regularly.
    I did the same in Glasgow. No ticket for Night 1, hit the box office. Bagged a ticket. Saw one of the best nights of the tour!

    St. Louis upper bowl behind the stage was curtained off too, sad that this happens in Chicago as well.

    The thing is, they don't care (LiveNation). They sold more ticket at a higher price so overall they are making more money, even with unsold seats.

  10. Sometimes its nice to have the assurance you have tickets.
    I'm going to night one in Philly with my wife and 4 kids.
    I was able to get 2 GA in fan club pre-sale, but ticket limits prevented me from buying 4 more.
    So, I bought 4 together on StubHub. I'm just not willing to head down to the show with my kids needing 4 tickets, you know?

    The shows are sold out in a couple of minutes and available via other sites an hour later for double the price. Not only U2 tickets...

    Not true by the way. Milan 3 struggled to sell out. Then, they significantly reduced ticket prices for Milan 3 and Milan 4 tickets were overall for almost all categories cheaper than for Milan 1, 2 and 3.
