  1. Crap album? SOE is one of their best, I rank Zooropa/AB as their best and SOE after.

Mcguinness would have told them not to put that album out or at least to treat it in a passengers style and not tour behind it.

Really. You actually thing mcguiness would say that. That’s crap
  3. So much this.

That "grind you down" before the solo, and the rage just as Edge starts... So much emotion there. The band is going all in on this song, Bono is going all in on his character and performance. Such an amazing performance...

I can't understand the people saying this is their worst tour. In my opinion SoE is far better than most of their stuff since the 00's, and with this tour they are going all in on not being a nostalgia act, they believe in what they're doing by playing 12 or so songs of the last double album (almost half the show), they're putting on a show with a narrative, they brought back McPhisto ffs. So much good in this thour.
Whether you like their new music or not, you can't argue they are taking risks and still involving themselves in the music they make. If they wanted to cruise for the money and for live nation, they wouldn't be doing this.
  4. My only real faults so far with this yet evolving show are the dropping of Wild horses & Bono talking shite during The ocean instead of singing the lyrics. I’d obviously prefer Streets & Witout you over SBS & Pride but I’m still glad that they had the balls to drop some of their bigger songs finally. I’m also very pleased that one of the better SOE songs finally made the set last night.
  5. great video!

Red Flag Day was FANTASTIC and the people around me went nuts!! Maybe things look different from other spots in the crowd... Acrobat was, if possible, even BETTER than the night before.

I think the setlist is evolving in a good way -- the IWF, Gloria, RFD segment was just right and the waves/ocean imagery from RFD went right into the Ocean. ABOY was fun but RFD fits much better thematically. I think it has tons of potential to be a huge first set highlight.

great review! i like the way set is evolving also. i'd be ecstatic to get last nights set list as is in atlanta...

Yeah all of that is fine, but you're not addressing the real issue and the thing we're ALL wondering...

Did you get your Joshua Tree singles vinyls already?
  8. Ok, no streets and no wowy, but in my case, if the setlist remains the same when they come to Europe, 13 out of 26 songs I’ve never heard live before! I can live with that!
