1. LOVETOWN
  2. Stories for Boys - Fish Needs a Bicycle
  3. I'm so thankful to have been able to see U2 live on every tour since 1987. The only tour I don't have strong memories from is the Vertigo tour, all others have a special place in my heart and will always have.
But I don't live in the past and I'm always for the band to explore new ground, play as many new songs live as possible even if that means not to play some well loved classic U2 songs. I like them to take risks. So my answer is: My favourite U2 era is always the present one.
  4. Absolute Elevation tour!!!!!! The goal is soul! Bad+streets loved!!
  5. 1979-2018 minus 2001.
  6. Zoo TV to popmart is the ultimate. Absolutely brilliant.

To witness a zoo tv gig at 14 years old is something to behold. Amazing.

I also think the IE and EI is a great era for U2. Elevation tour and vertigo the worst
  7. Yep, ZooTV and Popmart were absolutely mindblowing.

  9. I knew U2 when i was 12....i grew up with them.i still love them.my favourite era remains and Always Will remain the 83-84 years.my childhood\youth.
Unforgettable fire my fav album and Song Too.
    Beautiful memories.
  10. Definitely 1984-1985 unforgettable fire era!
  11. ohh that's tough..
I love the 80s anthems (NYD, SBS, Pride, WOWY, ISHFWILF, WTSHNN & the list goes on & on...)
I admire the 90s creativity & the tours' madness. They reached amazing levels of experimentation
I like the 360 tour era A LOT. They had a lot of fun on stage, they enjoyed themselves & it was the proper extravaganza tour to close one U2 era & open the new U2 era, the iNNOCENCE era in which they rediscovered themselves & looked back in their early Dublin years!
I also appreciate the eXPERIENCE era & I KNOW they have it IN THEM, to make (at least) one more GREAT U2 album! They absolutely have the know-how! Take the 80s revolutionary world-changing approach, the 90s creativity, madness, spirituality & experimentation & throw in some ATYCLB-HTDAAB-NLOTH U2 pop-rock vibes & create a MASTERPIECE! (oh. and work with Eno & Lanois!)
  12. The 90s, for sure.

Narrowing it further, ZooTV takes it for me. Broadening it further, 1987-1998: from The Joshua Tree pinnacle to the end of the band’s reaction against their own superstar image a decade later.
