    cheers to that...

and with that i just realized what does anything any of us are talking about right now have to do with U2 in Chicago!!!
  2. My main complaint with this tour so far is not that they play the same songs every night.

It's that the shows have gotten shorter each week.
We started with a 27 songs setlist, they immediately dropped Wild Horses and SFS, a week later they drop the ABOY/RFD rotation and a week later they drop RBW.

The supposed narrative they were aiming for in the Ocean - End of The World is just not there anymore

That's right, Welsh_Edge, might give a little sign too. But, won't the Chicago threat be dead then? How ever, praise anyone! I will! Maybe!

  4. Humor me and give me a mature argument why you think the Pride video is suitable for children. Just one.

It so friggin easy to give these comments like "Wow, just WOW" - just a mature reasonable argument, that's all I'm asking.

I think I agree with this point.... I probably could get over a limited rotating set-list...
and except that this is the tour.... but you're right.... I feel like I was short changed when I see a show with a smaller set-list. So I went to Vegas Night # 1 and to LA night # 2 and I enjoyed seeing ABOY on night two, however I knew then it meant I'd see one less song once I noticed they didn't play Gloria or RFD after....

Oh well.... there are still some great parts of the show.... love the opening... and even the middle, Elevation - Acrobat!

I even like them ending with LIBTAIIW and 13....
  6. No, it doesn't sound like a sitcom. It is a legit point of concern! Don't disrespect me!
  7. They really only shortened the show because they had to start late due to technical difficulties. I don't think the shorter set list last night should be a point of concern for the rest of the tour. Now, if they playa shorter set again tonight, that would be something to worry about. But there's no reason to raise the alarm like this right now.

I don’t think you’re correct as they played the exact same set in Omaha.

Yeah, in LA # 2 they didn't start the show until about 8:47.... only played ABOY, but didn't drop RBW.... I was happy with that at least...

If you can't even explain the lyrics of U2's Pride to your kids, you might better don't have them. If you think these are hard lyrics, you're about to have a hard wake up call in the future. How can anyone be this unworldly?

  12. In other words BigGirl was talking about the visuals being used it sounds like you are talking about the lyrics only BonoVox05
